Our population of cat patients is getting older - requiring more input year on year. We never want to be in the position where our quality of care falls due to overwork, and we are pretty much flat-out most of the time. The health of our staff is top priority - if we have staff off sick because of burn-out we end up able to care for less cats again, so that becomes a vicious circle. Therefore we have very reluctantly come to the decision that we cannot accept new clients. New patients for existing active clients is fine. We do appreciate that this creates great difficulties in some cases but there is only so much we can do in a day.
